As a Biomedical & Industrial Manufacturing Intern at Raja Industries, you will be working at the intersection of biomedical materials, pharmaceutical packaging, and industrial fabrication. This internship offers hands-on experience in medical-grade material selection, precision manufacturing, and regulatory compliance within an industrial setting. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to international standards and market requirements, making it a valuable experience for those interested in global biomedical and pharmaceutical collaborations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Study biocompatible metals and polymers used in pharmaceutical and medical applications for material analysis and research. - Assist in fabrication processes relevant to medical-grade components, ensuring regulatory compliance and sterile conditions for precision manufacturing. - Work on manufacturing process improvements for pharmaceutical and biomedical device components for process optimization. - Support inspection and validation of materials used in medical and industrial applications, following international standards such as ISO 13485 and FDA guidelines for quality control & compliance. - Collaborate with mechanical and industrial engineers to develop bioengineering solutions for high-precision manufacturing for cross-industry collaboration. - Apply knowledge of sterile manufacturing to improve structural integrity and production processes for medical packaging and vials for pharmaceutical packaging solutions. **Ideal Candidate Qualifications:** - Background in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, or related fields. - Experience in pharmaceutical packaging, medical-grade material processing, or industrial bioengineering. - Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA standards, or similar regulations for medical and pharmaceutical manufacturing (preferred). - Understanding of fabrication processes, material science, and quality control for sterile environments. - Basic knowledge of CAD design, thermal analysis, and mechanical stress testing is a plus. - Strong analytical skills with an interest in advanced manufacturing and biomedical materials. In this role, you will gain exposure to precision manufacturing for biomedical and pharmaceutical applications, hands-on experience in medical-grade fabrication, pharmaceutical packaging, and industrial bioengineering.
