Your role will involve gaining hands-on experience in medical-grade material selection, precision manufacturing, and regulatory compliance within an industrial setting. You will be responsible for studying biocompatible metals and polymers used in pharmaceutical and medical applications, assisting in fabrication processes relevant to medical-grade components, optimizing manufacturing processes for pharmaceutical and biomedical device components, supporting inspection and validation of materials used in medical and industrial applications, and working with mechanical and industrial engineers to develop bioengineering solutions for high-precision manufacturing. Additionally, you will apply your knowledge of sterile manufacturing to improve structural integrity and production processes for medical packaging and vials. The ideal candidate for this internship will have a background in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, or related fields, along with experience in pharmaceutical packaging, medical-grade material processing, or industrial bioengineering. Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA standards, or similar regulations for medical and pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred. Basic knowledge of CAD design, thermal analysis, and mechanical stress testing is a plus, as well as strong analytical skills with an interest in advanced manufacturing and biomedical materials.
