Qualifications: Education: Diploma / BE / Masters degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field. Experience: min 5 years of experience in metallurgy or materials engineering, preferably in automotive, aerospace, manufacturing. Skills: Strong knowledge of metallurgical processes and metal properties. Proficiency in using metallurgical equipment and analytical tools. Experience with failure analysis and testing methodologies. Ability to interpret metallographic, chemical, and mechanical test results. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Familiarity with CAD and simulation software. Experience in project management and process optimization. Conduct training sessions pertaining to RM Process, Special Process & Issues in RM Alternate material proposal to customer based on available nearby material. Route cause analysis of material crack and variations in secondary processes & during machining. impact of material composition on secondary processes like HT, Anodizing, MN PH. Interact with customers, suppliers and internal business units to provide unique material & special process solutions Analyse casting, Forgings, MIM, Bar stock material defects to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence Develop and manage metallurgical operations and work practices that maximize operational efficiencies
