Role Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reproducible pipelines for genomics, proteomics, and imaging datasets.
• Apply machine learning and statistical models to biological sequence, expression, and imaging data.
• Use Biopython, pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and scikit-learn to extract meaningful biological signals.
• Work with FASTA, VCF, and related formats in large-scale biological pipelines.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and biologists to integrate bioinformatics into scientific research.
• Document workflows to ensure reproducibility and transparency in biological analysis.

Requirements

• Background in bioinformatics, computational biology, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python and R, with experience in libraries like pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with Biopython and biological data formats like FASTA and VCF.
• Experience building reproducible data pipelines for large-scale biological datasets.
• Strong understanding of genomics, proteomics, and molecular biology datasets.
• Experience with statistical modeling and machine learning methods applied to biological data.
• Ability to work independently and asynchronously with flexible hours.
• Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported).
