Role Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reproducible pipelines for genomics, proteomics, and imaging datasets.
• Apply machine learning and statistical methods to biological sequence, expression, and imaging data.
• Extract meaningful biological signals using tools such as Biopython and scikit-learn.
• Work with large-scale biological data formats including FASTA, VCF, and related standards.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and biologists to integrate bioinformatics into research workflows.
• Document analyses and workflows to ensure reproducibility and transparency.

Requirements

• Strong background in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and R, including libraries such as pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with Biopython and common bioinformatics file formats (e.g., FASTA, VCF).
• Experience building reproducible pipelines for large-scale biological data.
• Solid understanding of genomics, proteomics, and molecular biology datasets.
• Experience applying statistical modeling and machine learning to biological data.
• Comfortable using Jupyter notebooks or similar tools for experimentation and collaboration.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
