This role focuses on executing and optimizing analysis pipelines, curating clinical data, and collaborating closely with the reporting and genomics teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hands-on data processing and will contribute to the implementation of best practices in genomic analysis and data management.
Key Responsibilities
- Curate and organize genomic and clinical data from multiple sources to support DNA-seq and RNA-seq interpretation.
- Execute and troubleshoot analysis of clinical samples using validated pipelines for Whole Exome Sequencing (WES), targeted gene panels, and transcriptome (RNA-Seq) data.
- Assist in developing and optimizing bioinformatics pipelines using tools such as DRAGEN, Nextflow, and Docker, with guidance from senior team members.
- Support the reporting team with genomic data interpretation by preparing visualizations (e.g., CNA graphs, allelic burden plots, fusion summaries).
- Stay updated on emerging tools and databases relevant to clinical NGS workflows and participate in knowledge sharing within the team.
