Bio Medical Engineer

As a Bio Medical Engineer at The Hans Foundation, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of equipment at Hans Renal Care Centers (HRCC). You will be responsible for the maintenance and management of medical devices, with a focus on providing support to HRCCs in Uttarakhand. Your location of work will be in Ranchi. Your key accountabilities will include: - Pre-purchase evaluation and negotiation in procurement of consumables for HRCC - Commissioning and installation of equipment and machineries at HRCC - Providing training to HRCC staff on the functioning and application of devices - Managing breakdowns, maintenance contracts, equipment failure analysis, repair scheduling, and documentation - Supporting and facilitating equipment inspections and audits - Implementing equipment risk management strategies - Documenting condemned devices and maintaining supplies inventory - Preparing biomedical reports and ensuring patient confidentiality - Ensuring a safe and healthy working environment by conducting safety tests and complying with procedures You will also be responsible for maintaining updated documentation related to AMC, consumables, medications, machines, and other necessary supplies at HRCC. Additionally, you will supervise inventory availability, attend review meetings, maintain patient data confidentiality, and share field success stories. This position reports to the Project Manager/Project Coordinator/Sr. Associate Programme and requires a B.Tech in Bio Technology. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in public health programs, along with strong team management skills. Proficiency in Hindi and English communication is essential for this role.,
