Key Responsibilities: Billing Generation and Processing: Prepare and process bills for in-patient services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hospital policies. Patient Interaction and Support: Provide assistance to patients and their families regarding their bills, payment options, and any billing-related concerns. Insurance Claim Management: Process and submit insurance claims, follow up on claim statuses, and resolve any claim rejections. Payment Collection and Reconciliation: Receive and process payments, reconcile financial records, and ensure timely collection of outstanding amounts. Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on billing performance, outstanding payments, and other relevant financial metrics for the hospital's finance department. Compliance and Adherence: Adhere to all relevant billing and insurance regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures. Discrepancy Resolution: Promptly address and resolve any billing discrepancies or errors. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and insurance companies, fostering positive relationships. Knowledge of IPD Services: Possess a good understanding of various in-patient procedures, services, and their associated charges. Working with TPAs and other agencies: Liaise with Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and other relevant agencies for billing and claim processing.

Key Responsibilities of an Account Executive: Perform a variety of accounting activities related to the payment and receipt, compute, classify, records and reconcile transitions in to financial accounting systems as well as compliance of applicable rules and regulations. Record classify and summarize accounting transactions. Compile various documents, verify their accuracy and authorize payments in accordance with established procedures. Assemble documents for computer input, verify accuracy of itemized charges account numbers and total costs. Select correct accounts; post, verify, and balance debit and credit entries. Reconcile accounts and assists in the compilation of reports. Apply a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and verify documents for completeness and compliance with government and private agencies. Perform arithmetic calculations. Maintain records through filing, retrieval, retention, storage, compilation, coding, updating, and purging. Respond to inquiries, check accounting transactions to locate and resolve discrepancies. Use various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational database, statistical package and graphics packages to assemble, format data and/or reports.
