Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Billing Generation and Processing:
Prepare and process bills for in-patient services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hospital policies.
Patient Interaction and Support:
Provide assistance to patients and their families regarding their bills, payment options, and any billing-related concerns.
Insurance Claim Management:
Process and submit insurance claims, follow up on claim statuses, and resolve any claim rejections.
Payment Collection and Reconciliation:
Receive and process payments, reconcile financial records, and ensure timely collection of outstanding amounts.
Reporting and Analysis:
Generate reports on billing performance, outstanding payments, and other relevant financial metrics for the hospital's finance department.
Compliance and Adherence:
Adhere to all relevant billing and insurance regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures.
Discrepancy Resolution:
Promptly address and resolve any billing discrepancies or errors.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and insurance companies, fostering positive relationships.
Knowledge of IPD Services:
Possess a good understanding of various in-patient procedures, services, and their associated charges.
Working with TPAs and other agencies:
Liaise with Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and other relevant agencies for billing and claim processing.
