BIM Mep Modeler

Role responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) models using Autodesk Revit in accordance with project requirements and BIM execution plans.
• Coordinate and collaborate with architectural and structural teams to ensure clash-free multidisciplinary models.
• Interpret and work from design drawings, specifications, and BIM standards to produce accurate and consistent modelling outputs.
• Generate coordinated shop drawings, sections, and schedules from the BIM model.
• Conduct clash detection using Navisworks and resolve coordination issues with consultants and internal teams.
• Update models based on markups, design changes, and site revisions.
• Maintain BIM documentation, families, templates, and ensure compliance with client-specific standards.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide technical inputs related to MEP systems and modelling practices.
• Work on Dubai-based residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects adhering to local codes and specifications.
  

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Education : Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering disciplines.
• Experience : 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in BIM Modelling for MEP services.
• Software Proficiency : Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP is mandatory. Experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 is an added advantage. Should have hands on experience on Conversion from LOD 300, LOD 350 to LOD 400, LOD 500
• Coordination Skills : Proven experience in coordinating with architecture and structural disciplines for clash-free BIM deliverables.
• Attention to Detail : Ability to understand and interpret complex MEP systems and produce high-quality, coordinated models and drawings.
• Communication : Good verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external consultants.
• Team Player : Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
