About the Role

We are looking for passionate and skilled SOLIDWORKS BIM Design Engineers to join our design team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SOLIDWORKS 3D design and BIM (Building Information Modeling) integration, along with good communication skills to coordinate effectively with European clients.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using SOLIDWORKS as per project requirements.
• Develop and manage BIM models ensuring accuracy, coordination, and compliance with project standards.
• Perform design detailing, drafting, and documentation for mechanical and structural components.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and project timelines.
• Review and interpret customer drawings, specifications, and standards from European clients.
• Support project teams with design updates, clash detection, and design validation as per BIM workflows.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Maintain version control, design data integrity, and ensure adherence to ISO and internal design standards.
• Participate in design review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in SOLIDWORKS 3D Design and BIM-related projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, assembly modeling, and detailing.
• Experience in BIM environments (Autodesk Revit / Navisworks / IFC workflows) will be an added advantage.
• Ability to interpret European design standards and specifications.
• Excellent English communication skills – both written and verbal – to interact with European clients.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with PDM / PLM tools preferred.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
