BIM Co-ordinator

• BIM Execution & Management
• Prepare and Implement BIM Execution Plan (BEP) in coordination with the client and consultants.
• Define LOD (Level of Detail)
• Monitor and update the Model Progress Reports (MPR)
• Coordination Between Stakeholders
• Facilitate model coordination meetings with client and contractors
• Manage clash detection and coordinate resolution
• Quality Control of BIM Models
• Review models for accuracy, standards compliance, and coordination issues.
• Enforce naming conventions, file structures, and modeling standards per ISO 19650 or company BIM
  

• Conduct audits and reviews of submitted models.
• Model Accuracy: Accountable for ensuring that coordinated models reflect actual design and field
  

• BIM Compliance: Ensuring all parties follow the BEP, standards, and modeling guidelines.
• Vendor & Contractor Coordination
• Validate shop drawings and fabrication models from vendors against the BIM model.
• Integrate MEP coordination with architectural and structural elements.
• Ensure contractors are modeling as per construction sequence, and all services are spatially
  

• Interdisciplinary Coordination: resolving spatial and system conflicts before they reach the site.
• Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain BIM issue logs, clash reports, model progress trackers.
• Prepare periodic reports for management and client review.
• Document lessons learned and improvements
