Billing Operations Manager

As a Billing Operations Manager at South Star, your role will involve managing a high-performing, multi-shift team responsible for processing over 20,000 invoices monthly, including telecommunications and utility services. Your responsibilities will include: - Team Leadership & Operational Oversight: - Manage day and night shift teams to optimize performance and ensure SLAs are met - Prioritize accuracy in invoice entry and oversee Audit, Inventory, and Implementations analysts - Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate staff to foster a high-performance culture - Develop and track KPIs related to invoice cycle time, accuracy, and team productivity - Standardize best practices for invoice processing and compliance - Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Partner with Account Managers and AP department to resolve invoice discrepancies - Lead internal initiatives to improve invoice workflows and resolve operational issues - Represent the Billing Operations team in cross-departmental planning meetings - Systems & Process Improvement: - Identify and implement system enhancements and process automations - Serve as the main contact between Billing Operations and Product/Engineering teams - Evaluate and implement tools to improve invoice processing efficiency - Promote a culture of continuous improvement using data-driven recommendations Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree - 4+ years of experience in billing operations, invoice processing, or finance operations - 3+ years of people management experience overseeing multi-shift teams - Strong experience with managing telecommunications and utility invoices and vendors - Experience with expense management platforms or related SaaS solutions - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills - High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Access, Outlook, and Teams This role at South Star will require you to be in the office during 11am to 8pm IST.,
