ROLE PURPOSE

We are looking for a Senior Lead Billing & Financial Reporting to join our Finance team and drive accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across billing operations and financial reporting. This is an Individual Contributor role based out of Noida.

You will play a key role in invoice generation, revenue recognition, audit readiness, and financial system operations, working cross-functionally to ensure seamless billing and accurate financial records.

THE RESPONSIBILTIES WE ENTRUST YOU WITH.

Billing & Revenue Recognition

• Ensure timely and accurate generation of invoices in accordance with client contracts and service agreements.

• Recognize revenue as per applicable accounting standards and contractual terms.

• Support timely closure of billing cycles and ensure reconciliation of billed vs. recognized revenue Financial Reporting & Reconciliation

• Work on financial data extraction, analysis, and reporting to ensure clear tracking of revenue and collections.

• Perform regular reconciliation of data across systems and accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Support the preparation of reports required for audits, business reviews, and regulatory purposes.

Audit Support & Compliance

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure closure of all audit queries within timelines.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and data integrity in compliance with accounting standards and policies.

WHAT MATTERS IN THIS ROLE

Experience & Portfolio

• 5-6 years of experience in billing, financial reporting, or revenue assurance roles.
• Experience in fintech, banking, or fast-paced technology environments preferred.
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline.

Technical Skills & Efficiency

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and handling large data sets.
• Familiarity with ERP systems like Oracle and NAV is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

Communication & Ownership

• Communication Skills

  : Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.

• Organizational Skills:

  Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Adaptability:

  Comfortable with dynamic requirements and able to pivot recruitment strategies as needed.
