Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Support Sales/Bids team by preparing accurate technical and commercial proposals for DCS/PLC/ESD solutions for thermal power projects.
Conduct technical review of customer specifications, RFQs, vendor quotations, and prepare technical bid evaluations.
Prepare instrument/electrical interface documents, technical questionnaires, and relevant bid documentation.
Develop complete DCS/ESD hardware & software requirement lists, architecture diagrams, and system configurations as per standards.
Coordinate with internal engineering, SCM, and marketing teams to prepare offers aligning with commercial strategy and customer needs.
Build and maintain customer relationships, supporting queries, clarifications, and ensuring alignment with project/market requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Mandatory Skills

Basic knowledge of
DCS / PLC / ESD / SIS
systems and architecture
Instrumentation engineering
: datasheets, sizing (ISO 5167), interface engineering
Bid & proposal engineering
: RFQ review, TBA, technical queries, offer preparation
Power plant automation
and electricalinstrument interfaces
MS Office
, basic engineering tools,
SPI
, and
OPC/communication tools

Good-to-Have Skills

SCADA systems
, networking basics (IEEE 802.3)
Industrial protocols:
Modbus, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus
MTO, procurement coordination
