BI Testing Role Hybrid

Introduction & Summary:
This role involves ensuring data integrity and reporting tools' security across environments in the context of the MIS platform migration With crucial responsibilities in data validation and BI testing, the ideal candidate will possess expertise in SQL, experience with BI tools, and a solid understanding of ETL processes Strong attention to detail and collaboration skills are essential to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders, Main Responsibilities: The Testing Team is critical in validating the migration's success and ensuring the system's integrity Key responsibilities include: Validate migrated data across PostgreSQL and Oracle databases, Test dashboards in SAP BO, Tableau, and Power BI for functional consistency and performance, Verify access rights and data visibility to ensure compliance with user roles, Test API endpoints for functionality post-migration, Validate DataStage job executions for accuracy and orchestration, Key Requirements: Proven experience in data validation and BI testing in complex environments, 5 to 8 Years of relevant experience, Strong knowledge of SQL for data comparison and analysis, Familiarity with BI tools: SAP BO, Tableau, Power BI, Understanding of ETL processes and tools (eg, IBM DataStage), Experience with API testing (eg, Postman, Swagger), Knowledge of access control testing and security validation, Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset and ability to work in cross-functional teams, Nice to Have: Experience with Shell scripts for data processing, Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Control-M, Understanding of Java APIs, Other Details: This position is hybrid, allowing for both remote work and in-office collaboration as needed The successful candidate will engage with a variety of MIS technologies and will contribute to a significant migration project across various databases and reporting tools,
