- Strong knowledge of SQL (DDL, DML, DCL) and complex query writing (joins, subqueries etc)
- Experience testing on RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS) and data validation techniques
- Familiarity with database design concepts (schemas, keys, normalization)
- Exposure to automation of database testing using tools like Python, Selenium + DB libraries or SQL automation frameworks (optional but preferred)
- Understanding of performance testing at the database level (indexing, query optimization).
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in test case design, defect tracking and reporting defects and Daily status
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and effective stakeholder communication
