BI Specialist

As a BI Developer / BI Specialist based in India, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including the headquarters in Germany, to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. You will work closely with the central BI team in IT to ensure the availability and quality of relevant data, as well as with colleagues from various teams within the international Jungheinrich organization. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining data marts and data models to support business reporting and analytics. You will also be tasked with creating interactive and high-performance dashboards, reports, and visualizations using SAP Analytics Cloud and other BI tools such as Power BI. Additionally, you will work on standardizing and automating processes in the Analytics & BI area, implementing Self-Service BI, and exploring further innovative approaches. Ensuring data quality and integrity through the implementation of data validation will be a key part of your role. You will also be expected to stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in business intelligence and data analytics, and effectively communicate the results of your work to various stakeholders, management, and top management. To be successful in this role, you should possess a University/Masters/Bachelors Degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, econometrics, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience as a BI Developer/BI Specialist. Excellent knowledge of data warehousing, database technologies (ETL), and data modeling is essential, as well as strong experience with BI, query design, and tools like SAP BW 4/HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, Eclipse, SAP Datasphere, PowerBI, Databricks, and SQL. In addition to the professional requirements, you should have excellent communication skills, be a self-starter, analytical problem solver, and team worker. Strong analytical competencies, a highly structured way of thinking, curiosity, and a pioneering spirit to explore new correlations are also important. You should be able to translate business requirements into use cases and analytical models effectively. Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of German is considered valuable.,
