Benchmarking Analyst - Automotive Interior System

**Job Description:** As a professional in the field of decoding design philosophy of competitors" vehicle in customers" perspective, your role will involve studying seats, trims, structure, and integration with other systems. You will be responsible for cost and weight analysis, as well as performance evaluation of interior trims, seats, NVH parts, and systems. Additionally, you will provide system analysis summary reporting and support to the engineering team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Preparation of benchmarking sheets and analysis reports - Development of BOM/database of raw material and manufacturing processes - Weight and performance analysis at part/sub-system/system level - Performance evaluation of components and systems - Study of system layout - Research on upcoming technology through benchmarking activities - Idea generation and analysis for implementation in Maruti Suzuki models **Qualification Requirements:** - Experience in design, development, testing, and validation in at least one domain area related to instrument panel, interior trims, integration with other systems, floor carpets, rooflining, NVH parts, packaging, seating systems, or HVAC systems - Knowledge of vehicle interior/exterior systems, their basic functions, design concepts, and evaluation on vehicles - Understanding of sheet metal, plastic, and rubber parts - Knowledge of performance, safety, regulatory requirements, and testing procedures of body and interior systems/subsystems - Familiarity with engineering materials, manufacturing processes, tooling, and cost estimation - Educational background in B.E/B.Tech and graduation/post-graduation in mechanical or automobile engineering,
