A Bench Sales Recruiter's core responsibility is to market available IT consultants (the "bench") to prospective clients, secure placements on projects, and manage the end-to-end recruitment process. Key duties include developing strong client and candidate relationships, identifying and sourcing suitable IT professionals, negotiating contract terms, maintaining candidate databases and sales pipelines, and meeting sales targets. Strong IT knowledge, excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with IT consultants, understand their skills, and monitor their availability for new projects.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors to understand their requirements and identify new business opportunities.
Bench Marketing & Sales: Actively market available consultants to clients, creating a consistent pipeline of talent for various contract or remote roles.
Recruitment Process Management: Oversee the entire recruitment cycle, including screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating client-candidate communications.
Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms, including rates, with both clients and consultants to ensure successful placements.
Database Management: Maintain and update candidate profiles, skill sets, and other relevant information in CRM or ATS systems.
Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets for consultant placements and bench utilization.
Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and new client requirements to identify strategic opportunities.
