INDIA LLP Business Development Executive / Manager Government Tendering & Sales Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development professional with a strong background in Government Tendering and B2G (Business to Government) sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying government business opportunities, managing end-to-end tendering processes, building relationships with government bodies, and securing contracts. Key Responsibilities: Government Tendering: Identify, track, and evaluate relevant government tenders (central, state, PSU, and municipal). Analyze RFPs, RFQs, and EoIs to assess eligibility and technical compliance. Coordinate with internal teams to prepare bid documentation, pricing, and technical proposals. Ensure timely submission of tenders and compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements. Maintain updated knowledge of government procurement policies and portals (e.g., GeM, CPPP, eProcurement portals). Sales & Business Development: Develop and implement a strategy to target key government accounts and departments. Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, procurement officers, and other stakeholders. Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth from government contracts. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and pre-bid meetings. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct regular market intelligence to identify new business opportunities in the government sector. Monitor competitors activities and pricing trends in tenders. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of tender submissions, client communications, and contract status. Generate regular reports on pipeline, win/loss analysis, and strategic initiatives. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). 37 years of experience in government tendering and business development. In-depth knowledge of government procurement processes and e-tendering portals. Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing strategy and contract negotiation. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and tendering platforms (GeM, CPP, state portals).
