Bartender

Job Summary:

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. The role requires excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and customer service, as well as the ability to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
• Welcome guests, take drink orders, and provide recommendations when needed.
• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks consistently and with attention to presentation.
• Check customer identification to verify legal drinking age.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area, equipment, and glassware.
• Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed during and after shifts.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of all beverages.
• Follow responsible alcohol service policies and handle intoxicated guests appropriately.
• Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Set up and close down the bar according to shift requirements.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a bartender in a hotel, restaurant, or bar setting.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and bar equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bartending certification or mixology training.
• Knowledge of local and international beverages.
• Familiarity with bar inventory systems and POS software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
