Job SummaryAs a Bartender at AJA, you will be the face of our bar experience—delivering exceptional service, crafting signature drinks with flair, and curating a memorable guest journey. You will embody our philosophy of “Everyday Nice” and elevate the bar program with precision, creativity, and passion. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with AJA’s recipes and presentation standards Understand and execute all cocktails on the signature menu; contribute to seasonal menu development and tastings Engage warmly with guests, provide recommendations, and offer personalized experiences Ensure the bar is always clean, organized, well-stocked, and aligned with hygiene and safety standards Maintain a deep knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and wellness-oriented beverages (e.g. kombucha, botanical drinks) Handle POS operations and maintain cash handling procedures accurately Uphold responsible alcohol service and check IDs as per local laws Work collaboratively with servers, chefs, and managers to ensure smooth flow of service Participate in daily briefings, tastings, and training programs Candidate ProfileMust-Have: 1–3 years of professional bartending experience in a premium bar, restaurant, or hotel Strong mixology knowledge and understanding of flavour pairings Energetic personality with excellent guest interaction skills Clean and organized work habits; attention to detail Ability to work nights, weekends, and peak service hours Nice-to-Have: Experience with wellness-inspired or low-alcohol/no-alcohol beverage programs Basic wine knowledge and ability to upsell based on food pairing Flair bartending skills or certification in mixology/bar service Passion for sustainable, mindful hospitality What We OfferCompetitive salary & service incentives Growth pathway within AJA's expanding lifestyle brand Continuous training in global beverage trends and service excellence Staff meals, wellness perks, and a positive, respectful work culture Let me know if you'd like a shorter version for Instagram, or a more junior variant for bar backs or bar interns.
