Job Description

A barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages, as well as handling customer orders and payments. They also maintain a clean and organized work area, and may assist with food preparation and inventory management. Baristas need strong customer service skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for coffee and tea. Key Responsibilities: Beverage Preparation: Making and serving coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other specialty beverages. Customer Service: Greeting customers, taking orders, providing menu recommendations, and handling payments. Food Preparation: Assisting with food preparation, such as sandwiches, pastries, and other cafe items. Equipment Operation: Operating coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Cleanliness & Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment and sanitizing surfaces. Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and potentially placing orders. Team Collaboration: Working effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service. Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or feedback. Following Safety and Hygiene Standards: Adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
