Position: Barista

We are seeking a Barista who can hit the ground running, bringing their expertise and positive attitude to our counter.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of continuous experience as a Barista in a professional coffee setting is mandatory.
• Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of coffee preparation techniques (espresso extraction, milk frothing/texturing for latte art, pour-overs, etc.).
• Skills: Proven ability to operate and maintain commercial espresso machines and grinders.
• Customer Service: Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine love for interacting with customers. Must be able to handle rush hours calmly and efficiently.
• Multitasking: Ability to take orders accurately, prepare drinks quickly, and manage the cash register simultaneously.
• Cleanliness: Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workstation and following all food safety standards.
• Availability: Must be flexible to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and non-coffee beverages following KA Brew House's recipes and quality standards.
• Educate customers on our menu offerings, coffee beans, and drink specials.
• Process customer orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including the bar area, seating area, and equipment.
• Monitor inventory and communicate stock needs to the management team.
• Assist with other general cafe duties as needed (e.g., light food prep, stocking).
