Barista

Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly, skilled, and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, takes pride in creating high-quality beverages, and delivers excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and tea beverages (e.g., espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, cold brews) to company standards.
• Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and brewers.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including the coffee bar and service area.
• Manage inventory of coffee, milk, syrups, and supplies; restock as needed.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
• Engage with guests and provide product recommendations or upsell items.
• Assist in cleaning duties, including dishwashing, sweeping, and garbage disposal.
• Support team members during busy periods or shifts as needed.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for coffee, service, and hospitality.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Preferred Skills:

• Latte art or specialty coffee experience.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Basic food safety or barista certification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
