Bar Supervisor

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• To take full responsibility for the bar opening procedure and
• pay attention to the cleanliness and alignment of equipment,
• freshness and correct preparation of all ingredients, and
• stock levels of all bottles.
• Ensure smooth running of all bar operations.
• Ensure weekly/daily checklists are completed by bar staff.
• Ensure all of the bar team adhere to systems and procedures
• as outlined in the standards of procedures manual.
• Ensure all stock is rotated and stored in a safe manner.
• Ensure all bars are prepared for set up in advance of each
• shift and in accordance with relevant standards of procedure.
• Ensure that all staff arrive to work on time and in correct
• uniform and name badge as per weekly rota.
• Develop, train and coach bar staff to the standards required
• of the establishment in accordance with the standards of
• procedures manual.
• Induction, monitoring and ongoing training of casual bar staff.
• Manage daily inventory, wastage, promo drinks and spoilage.
• Record and report incidents as appropriate.
• Should have detailed knowledge about Beer Pouring Manual.
• SOP for Beer line cleaning.
• SOP for receiving fresh kegs and calculating empty keg
• variance.
• Ensure that bar requisitions are made as per the par stock.
