Banking Assistant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Banking Assistant to support daily banking operations and deliver excellent service to customers. The role involves handling customer transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting senior banking staff in ensuring smooth branch operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, account inquiries, and basic banking services
• Process banking transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain customer records and ensure data confidentiality
• Support account opening, KYC verification, and documentation
• Handle cash management and daily reconciliation
• Respond to customer queries and resolve issues professionally
• Assist in cross-selling banking products such as savings accounts, loans, and cards
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of banking products and services
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good numerical and analytical ability
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in banking or financial services
• Familiarity with core banking systems
• Customer service experience
