As a member of the culinary team at Fairfield by Marriott Amritsar, located in Albert Road, Amritsar, Punjab, India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and presentation of food items. Your responsibilities will include preparing special meals, regulating cooking temperatures, thawing frozen items, and maintaining food logs. You will be expected to communicate effectively with the Chef and the Food & Beverage service staff regarding menu specials and food availability. In addition to food preparation tasks, you will assist in managing the culinary team by participating in hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating employees. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards. As a key member of the team, you will be a role model for other employees and maintain a professional appearance at all times. To be considered for this position, you should have a Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree and at least 3 years of related work experience. While supervisory experience is not required, strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork are essential.
