Bakery Chef

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Bakery Chef Commi II with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in baking and pastry preparation. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and baking of breads, cakes, cookies, pastries, and other bakery items.
• Follow standard recipes and portion guidelines accurately.
• Support senior bakers in daily production and prep work.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area at all times.
• Ensure products meet quality and consistency standards.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating stock.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Participate in kitchen prep for events, special orders, and seasonal offerings.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience working in a bakery, café, or pastry kitchen.
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
• Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Culinary education or bakery/pastry training is a plus but not mandatory.
