The Shalimar Hotel is looking for a skilled and creative Bakery Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bakery operations and a passion for producing high-quality baked goods while maintaining hygiene and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and desserts
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation
Follow standardized recipes and portion control
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per hotel and FSSAI standards
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
Train and guide junior bakery staff, if required
Coordinate with the Executive Chef / Sous Chef for daily production
Ensure minimal wastage and proper storage of bakery items

Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Bakery Chef in a hotel or reputed bakery
Formal qualification in Bakery & Confectionery is preferred
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and bakery equipment
Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
Team player with a positive attitude
