Job Description

Key Responsibilities: • Assist senior chefs in preparation and production of breads, pastries, desserts, and specialty baked items. • Follow recipes, portioning, and preparation guidelines as directed. • Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and icings as per production schedule. • Operate bakery equipment (mixers, ovens, sheeters, etc.) safely and efficiently. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery kitchen, workstations, storage, and equipment. • Label, store, and rotate ingredients and products following FIFO standards. • Assist in receiving and checking deliveries of raw materials, ensuring quality and proper storage. • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures as per company and regulatory standards. • Support in daily mise-en-place preparation for smooth kitchen operations. • Participate in plating, packaging, and finishing of products for display, retail, or orders. • Continuously learn new recipes, techniques, and bakery trends under the guidance of senior chefs. • Assist with stock-taking and inventory checks when required.
