Backend Lead

Experience Required:

• Minimum: 5+yrs relevant experience.
• Preferred: 5 to 7 years relevant experience

Technical Requirements:

• Mandatory:
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including modern ES6+ features.

• Expertise in Node.js, with a deep understanding of its event-driven, non-

blocking I/O model.

• Strong experience with backend frameworks such as Express.js.
• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, including Promises and

async/await.

• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases

like DynamoDB.

• Familiarity with ORM/ODM tools such as Sequelize or Mongoose.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven

Development (BDD) methodologies.

• Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest or

Mocha.

• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

pipelines.

• Strong understanding of security best practices, including authentication,

authorization, and data validation.

• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git..
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform for

scalable and repeatable deployments.

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and

Kubernetes.
