Backend Lead

You will be working as a Java Developer at GlobalLogic, located in Pune office with a mandatory requirement of working all 5 days from the office. As a Java Developer, your primary responsibilities will include technical design, implementation, deployment, and support of various systems. You will be expected to partner with Business Analysts to review and implement business requirements, perform development and unit testing, and work closely with the Business team. Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring and overseeing the development of resources, ensuring compliance with specifications, and contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Technical design, implementation, deployment, and support of systems - Partnering with Business Analysts to review and implement business requirements - Performing development and unit testing, working closely with the Business team - Mentoring and overseeing the development of resources, including reviewing designs and performing code reviews - Ensuring designs are in compliance with specifications - Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle - Developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems to deliver high-availability and performance - Working on Core Java/J2EE & OOPS concepts - Being well-versed with Spring/Struts & Apache Camel (OSGI Framework) - Having a good understanding of Hibernate and other ORMs - Working on Web Services (SOAP/REST) and Maven build tool such as Jenkins - Implementing Caching Techniques (Redis, Hazelcast, Aerospike) - Having knowledge of databases like Oracle and MySQL Qualifications Required: - B.Tech./MCA, BCA in Computer Science or equivalent - 3-6 years of experience - Must-have skills in Java, Spring/springboot, JPA/Hibernate, Messaging queue (Kafka/SQS/distributed message/SNS/JMS), NOSQL (Aerospike/Redis/Cassandra), and Microservices GlobalLogic is committed to providing a culture of caring where people come first.
