We are looking for Software Engineers who have good experience in Python and Cloud tech. Though it is a backend-focused role, but, we always welcome the engineers who have a mindset of growing as full-stack roles (like to learn DevOps and front end)

Responsibilities

• Develop highly performant software in a distributed environment to solve business problems.
• Develop fault-tolerant and scalable event-driven microservices in Python and Golang (if you dont know one of these languages, then you must be willing to learn that).
• Deploy the developed software on the AWS cloud in the Docker container through an automated CICD pipeline.
• Design and develop serverless (AWS Lambda) computing for event-driven processing.
• Build the alerting/monitoring systems for your written software.
• Design APIs by following RESTs best practices.
• Document the technical implementation design of the software developed by you.
• Write performant database queries to fetch or update or insert data.
• Follow Agile Scrum practices.

Requirements:

• The most important requirement - Must have a growth mindset, be willing to learn new things, take risks and not be afraid of failure, welcome challenges, be result-oriented and hold him/herself fully accountable for its own commitments, and last but not least - be a great team player, whom everyone likes to work with.
• 3+ years of experience in developing software using modern software development methodologies (agile), and software design patterns.
• A good knowledge of Python and/or Cloud tech (AWS, GCP, Azure etc.) is required.
• Not required, but having a good DevOps knowledge and experience will be a huge plus.
• TDD or BDD experience for functional and unit testing.
• We are language and framework agnostic and trust our engineers to make sensible decisions to select (or learn quickly) their language and tool carefully. However, if you wish to know our current software development stack - we are currently leveraging GoLang, Python, TypeScript, Serverless-computing (Lambda), Postgres, Redis, React, Redux, Jenkins, Github, Docker, and tons of other AWS resources. We expect you to have a good working knowledge of some of these technologies.
