PANHA is a safe, anonymous platform supporting individuals facing trauma, mental health challenges, and personal struggles. With a strong peer support community of 6000 members and a passionate team of 100 changemakers, PANHA provides an anonymous chat platform, human buddy listening support, 24/7 AI-driven support, and counseling therapy sessions. We address various challenges including breakup trauma, family disputes, academic pressure, anxiety, and depression. Our vision is to decrease suicide cases by fostering a compassionate and supportive community for mental health.

Role Description

This is a remote, volunteer role for a Backend Developer specializing in WebRTC (Agora) & WebSocket (Ably) technologies. The Backend Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our platform. Day-to-day tasks include coding, troubleshooting server-side issues, implementing new features, ensuring the platform's scalability, and working closely with other developers on the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Knowledge of Programming and Front-End Development
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
• Experience with WebRTC (Agora) and WebSocket (Ably) technologies is highly beneficial
• Passion for mental health and wellness
