Job Summary

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure server-side applications.
• Manage and optimize relational and/or NoSQL databases for performance and reliability.
• Integrate and maintain third-party APIs as well as develop custom APIs for internal use.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to align server-side logic with user-facing components.
• Ensure application security, data protection, and compliance with best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend performance issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Work closely with the product and design teams to deliver high-quality features on time.
• Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and tools.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and API integration methods.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with server deployment and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with strong communication skills.
