Backend Developer

As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm, your role involves designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and utility programs to create cutting-edge products that exceed customer expectations. Collaboration with system, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams is essential to design system-level software solutions and gather performance requirements and interfaces information. You will be responsible for creating scalable backend systems that power applications, requiring a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Additional qualifications include a B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of hands-on software development experience, strong problem-solving skills with a good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, experience with highly distributed systems, proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and System Design, familiarity with front-end technologies like React or Angular, and knowledge of relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is also required. Additionally, familiarity with AI tools and frameworks like LangChain, Anglo, Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI APIs, or LLM orchestration frameworks and an interest in exploring AI-driven applications and intelligent system design are considered nice-to-have skills.
