Backend Developer

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js to ensure high performance and responsiveness. It is preferred that you have experience working with MongoDB (Mongoose ORM) for data modeling, querying, and schema design to handle complex business logic. However, candidates with experience in other databases are also welcome to apply for this position. Your role will involve implementing authentication and authorization methods such as JWT, cookies, and role-based access, while ensuring secure data handling practices are maintained. Collaboration with frontend developers using React.js, participation in code reviews, and adherence to best practices in Git-based version control and deployment are key aspects of this position. Ideal candidates will have the ability to integrate third-party services, such as Cloudinary for file storage and external APIs, and optimize backend performance accordingly.
