Job Description

Job Title:

Backend Developer (Node.js, MongoDB, API Development)


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain server-side logic and backend services using 

    Node.js

     and 

    MongoDB

    .
  2. Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient 

    RESTful APIs

    .
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend systems with other services and databases.
  4. Optimize application performance, database queries, and API response times.
  5. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve server and database-related issues.
  6. Stay updated with backend trends, tools, and best practices.


Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a 

    Backend Developer

     with hands-on work in production environments.
  2. Proficiency in 

    Node.js

    , 

    MongoDB

    , 

    API development.

  3. Good understanding of backend design patterns, database modeling, and authentication.
  4. Familiarity with tools like 

    Postman

    , 

    Git

    , and basic knowledge of 

    CI/CD pipelines

    .
  5. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the team.
  7. Clear and professional communication skills.

    • Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree

       in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

    • 1 to 2 years

       of hands-on experience in backend development using 

      Node.js

       and 

      MongoDB


    • Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):

    • Experience in integrating 

      AI tools

       into backend workflows.
    • Familiarity with AI/ML APIs such as OpenAI, Google AI, or similar platforms.
    • Knowledge of building AI-powered features, automation scripts, or chatbots.
    • Understanding of data preprocessing and model integration in backend systems.
