Primary Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using
Node.js
,
JavaScript
, and
MongoDB
.
Build and integrate
REST APIs
and GraphQL endpoints. (Basic GraphQL knowledge is acceptable if the candidate is strong in JavaScript and MongoDB.)
Work with
MongoDB
for database design, optimization, and query writing.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality features.
Ensure scalable, secure, and reliable backend architecture.

Primary Skills (Must-Have)

Strong hands-on experience with
Node.js
and
JavaScript
.
Good understanding of
MongoDB
(schemas, aggregation, indexing, performance).
Experience in developing
REST APIs
.
Basic to advanced understanding of
GraphQL
(basic knowledge acceptable if core JavaScript/MongoDB skills are strong).

Secondary Skills (Good to Have)

Experience with
NestJS
framework.
Knowledge of
Typescript
.
Familiarity with
Redis
for caching.
Experience with
Microservices
architecture, especially
RabbitMQ (RMQ)
.
Knowledge of
Express.js
.

Additional Requirements

Problem-solving mindset and strong debugging skills.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Understanding of authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth, roles/permissions).
