Backend Developer - Java/Spring Boot

As a SpringBoot/TypeScript/Java with RDBMS Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver integrated solutions. It is essential to write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following industry best practices and coding standards. Additionally, you will be developing and managing databases, including schema design, efficient SQL query writing, and utilizing ORM frameworks like Spring Data JPA or Hibernate. Unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting will also be part of your responsibilities to ensure application functionality and performance. To excel in this role, you should have a strong proficiency in Java programming, including core Java concepts, collections, generics, and Java 8 features. Extensive experience with the Spring ecosystem, particularly Spring Boot for building web applications and microservices, is required. Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful APIs, along with experience with database technologies and ORM tools (e.g., JPA, Hibernate), is essential. Understanding software development best practices, secure coding, continuous integration, and test automation is crucial. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and strong problem-solving and analytical skills are also necessary. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are highly valued in this role. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is typically preferred. You should have at least 2+ years of full-time experience in SPA web application backend development using JavaScript Frameworks like SpringBoot, Java, MEAN.io, Express, TypeScript, or other Java frameworks on significant projects.
