Job Description

About the Role:

We are building a fantasy sports platform

Key Responsibilities

Build & maintain REST APIs using
CodeIgniter and Laravel
Integrate live sports APIs for fixtures, squads, and scoring
Develop fantasy logic: team creation, point calculation, leaderboards
Implement wallet flows: deposits, bonuses, withdrawals, KYC
Handle real-time scoring & rank updates with Redis / WebSockets
Write cron jobs for contest locks, settlements, and payouts
Optimize database queries, caching, and scaling for high traffic
Ensure app security: authentication, input validation, payment flows

Requirements

3+ years PHP backend experience
Strong knowledge of CodeIgniter & Laravel frameworks
Experience with MySQL, Redis, and queues
Hands-on with payment gateway integration
(Razorpay, PayU, etc.)
Prior experience in
fantasy sports / gaming backend
(contests, scoring, wallets) preferred
Good knowledge of Git & deployment
Ability to work
full-time on-site in Surat
(mandatory)

Nice to Have

Knowledge of
real-time systems
(Socket.IO, Pusher, Swoole)
Experience with
AWS/GCP cloud deployment
Understanding of compliance, fair play, and responsible gaming
