About the Opportunity

Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using

  Python

  and

  Go (Golang)

  as core languages.
• Architect event-driven systems and serverless workflows using

  AWS Lambda

  ,

  API Gateway

  , and

  Step Functions

  .
• Design and develop core business modules across

  deal origination, due diligence, loan management, repayments, covenants,

  and

  default management

  .
• Orchestrate data pipelines, automate workflows, and ensure system resilience with

  microservices

  and

  distributed systems

  design.
• Architect and maintain RESTful and gRPC APIs, integrating with CRMs, external data providers (PitchBook, Crunchbase), payment gateways (Razorpay, NPCI), and accounting systems.
• Implement

  security, compliance, and auditability

  features (KYC, DLP, and RBI guidelines adherence).
• Manage

  database design and performance optimization

  , including data synchronization and migration across RDS, DynamoDB, and caching layers (Redis).
• Integrate

  AI/ML pipelines and LLM-based

  services (e.g., document intelligence, NLP-based data extraction, RAG frameworks).
• Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless deployment pipelines using

  AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform

  .
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and sprint planning while maintaining clean, modular, and test-driven code.

Ideal Qualifications

• B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech

  in Computer Science or related field from a Tier I/II institute.

• 2–4 years

  of proven backend development experience, preferably in BFSI, fintech, or lending platforms.
• Proficiency in

  Python (Django/FastAPI/Flask)

  and

  Go (Golang)

  for API and backend module development.
• Deep hands-on experience with

  AWS services

  including

  Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS

  , and

  CloudWatch

  .
• Strong grounding in

  microservice architecture

  ,

  serverless computing

  , and

  event-driven workflows

  .
• Familiarity with

  containerization

  (Docker, Kubernetes) and

  infrastructure as code

  (Terraform, AWS CDK).
• Experience with

  CI/CD automation

  and testing frameworks (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
• Understanding of

  NoSQL/SQL databases

  , distributed caching, and message brokers (Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Exposure to LLM frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI API) and

  Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

  setups is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Interest in venture debt, fintech infrastructure, and the startup ecosystem is a bonus.
