Back End Developer

Role & responsibilities

Design and develop backend services using .NET and Node.js.

Implement and manage systems for generating, signing, and distributing secure digital credentials or passes.

Integrate cryptographic standards including RSA/ECC encryption, SHA-256 hashing, and digital signatures workflows.

Work with digital certificates, private keys, and secure token generation.

Develop RESTful APIs for issuing and managing credentials, with a focus on scalability and security.

Collaborate with frontend/mobile teams to enable smooth end-to-end integrations.

Ensure compliance with modern security and privacy standards (e.g., TLS, JWT, token expiration, key rotation).

Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust monitoring for secure data flows.

Preferred candidate profile

35 years of hands-on experience in backend development.

Proficiency in both .NET (C#) and Node.js.

Strong experience in encryption/decryption techniques and cryptographic libraries.

Knowledge of certificate signing, key generation, and digital signature workflows.

Familiarity with secure storage and distribution of .pem, .p12, or similar key/certificate formats.

Solid understanding of REST API design, OAuth2/JWT, and token-based authentication.

Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.

Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools.
