We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to lead KYNs digital voice across Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms. This role demands a sharp eye for creative storytelling, an understanding of hyperlocal culture, and a deep love for content that drives community, discovery, and conversion. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with creative agencies or as an individual contributor with a brand, with a track record of crafting thumb-stopping content, collaborating with influencers, and leading platform-specific strategies that translate into real engagement and growth. KEY OBJECTIVES: Strategy & Platform Management: Build and execute a cohesive social media strategy that supports KYNs growth across Chennai and beyondcovering Events, Local Buzz and other features. Be the custodian of all KYN social channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X), including posting, community engagement, and brand response as an individual contributor. Plan, maintain, and publish a weekly/monthly content calendar aligned with business goals, cultural moments, and local events. Act as the voice of the brand online, balancing creativity with tone and consistency. Content Creation & Creative Collaboration: Work with internal design & production teams to produce high-quality creativesstatic, motion, carousels, reels, meme formats, and hyperlocal video formats. Lead ideation sessions to develop Gen-Z-relevant, meme-worthy, and trending content that ties back to KYNs app features. Performance & Optimization: Measure performance across posts, stories, and campaignsmonitoring metrics like engagement, reach, saves, shares, installs, and ticket sales. YOUR TALENT: Qualifications and Functional Competencies: 6-7 years of social media/content experience, preferably in a creative agency or high-growth consumer brand. Strong portfolio of Instagram-first campaigns, reels, static posts, and brand storytelling. Deep understanding of platform nuances—Instagram Reels, Meta Ads formats, YouTube Shorts, Meme Culture, and Gen-Z content trends. Comfortable using tools like Meta Business Suite, Later/Buffer, Canva/Figma, Sprout, or Notion.
