Back-end Developer

As a Back-end Developer at Deutsche Bank in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in the digital transformation initiatives of the bank. You will be part of a dynamic team working on strategic and challenging projects aimed at enhancing the bank's digital channels. Your primary responsibility will be to leverage your expertise in Java design and development to support and guide a team of developers within a Squad. You will be actively involved in implementing Continuous Integration tools and practices as part of Deutsche Bank's digitalization journey. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to strong solution design, develop and test software, integrate and deploy applications, and continuously improve software quality. You will engage in peer code reviews, participate in squad activities and ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, and contribute to planning and continuous improvement activities. Additionally, you will collaborate with other squad members to achieve objectives and report progress using Agile team management tools. To excel in this position, you should have at least 6 years of experience in Java development, proficiency in working with global and local teams in an Agile environment, and a strong understanding of Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Webservices, messaging, database technologies, batch processing, security concepts, and application servers. A DevOps mindset and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
