Back End Developer - Contract

Job Title: Senior Backend Developer (Python/Java) Experience: 8–10 Years Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract Shift: 8 am to 5 pm IST Duration: 1 Year Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in Python and/or Java to design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building scalable APIs and microservices, along with strong problem-solving and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize backend systems using Python/Java. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and performance. Write clean, scalable, and testable code following best practices. Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and mentor junior developers. Ensure security, reliability, and performance of backend components. Requirements: 8–10 years of backend development experience in Python and/or Java. Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Proficient in database design (SQL/NoSQL). Experience with CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and version control (Git). Excellent problem-solving, architectural, and communication skills. Nice to Have: Exposure to DevOps practices and tools. Experience with asynchronous processing and event-driven architecture.
