Back End Developer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Back-End Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Node.js and PostgreSQL, and a passion for building scalable, high-performance back-end systems. You will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining APIs, database structures, and server-side logic for our web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic using Node.js.

-Develop RESTful APIs and microservices to support front-end applications.

-Work with PostgreSQL to create and manage efficient database schemas, queries, and procedures.

-Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

-Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and designers to deliver integrated solutions.

-Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

-Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

-Ensure security and data protection best practices are implemented.

-Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

-2+ years of hands-on experience in back-end development.

-Strong knowledge of Node.js and asynchronous programming patterns.

-Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including complex queries, indexing, and optimization.

-Experience with API design and development (REST, JSON).

-Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.

-Good understanding of server-side security best practices.

-Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.

-Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Nice to Have:

-Experience with Express.js and NestJS.

-Understanding of software testing and TDD practices.

-Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
