Front End Developer

Front-End Developer (React Native / React)

We are building a community-first, safe, and ad-free social networking platform focused on authentic, meaningful connections and high-quality engagement. We are looking for a Front-End Developer responsible for building and implementing intuitive, responsive interfaces for our mobile app (React Native) and web dashboard/admin (React).

Responsibilities

- Develop responsive, polished UI components using React Native and React.

- Convert Figma (or similar) designs into production-ready screens.

- Implement front-end flows for:

Firebase Authentication (login, signup, OTP screens)

Stream Activity Feeds (posts, comments, likes, follows)

Stream Chat (channels, message lists, input boxes)

- Create reusable, scalable UI components and maintain consistent styling across platforms.

- Ensure smooth interactions, animations, and front-end performance.

- Handle UI-level state, navigation, and error/validation presentation.

- Collaborate closely with designers and product teams to refine the look, feel, and usability of the app.

Requirements

- Strong experience with React Native and React for front-end development.

- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).

- Experience integrating front-end UI with SDKs, especially Firebase Auth, Stream Activity Feeds, and Stream Chat.

- Solid understanding of component-driven architecture and responsive design.

- Ability to implement pixel-perfect designs and maintain visual consistency.

- Experience working from design tools like Figma.

- Attention to detail, usability, and accessibility.

Nice to Have

- Experience with UI animations (e.g., Reanimated, Lottie).

- Prior experience customizing WordPress front-end (themes, layouts).

- Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG) best practices.
